El Malecon runs along Havans sea front, the absonce of hotels and holiday homes is stiking. This is a place for living,, carnivals and public demonstrations. Every July 26 there is a demonstation to mark the formation of the revolutionary movement M-26-7. The theme of the demonstration pictured below was to demand the release of five Cuban nationals held on charges of espionage in America.
