The central feature of Plaza de la Revolucion is a monument to natioal hero Jose Marti. The Tower was constructed before the revolution of 1959. The monument is faced by the Ministerio del Interior building which is decorated with a Che Guevara design (above left). To the rear of the monument are the offices of the Comite Central del Partido Comunista de Cuba (below).
